GARUDA Indonesia launched its Jakarta-Tokyo daily service yesterday.
Garuda area manager Western Indonesia Arif Wibowo said: “The flight is part of our efforts to improve our services, especially in the growing business travel sector. The direct service will make it convenient for travellers doing business in Jakarta and the surrounding areas.”
One of the conveniences offered is the immigration-on-board service, where travel documents to enter Indonesia are processed onboard, saving travellers the hassle of queuing at the airport upon arrival.
The service uses Airbus A330-200 with 222 seats in two classes. Apart from this flight, Garuda serves Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya from Bali. |
