BARELY a month after winning the Dutch's 333Travel account, Pacto has netted Audley Travel, a high-end tailormade tour operator based in UK.
Audley Travel, which has been sending clients to Indonesia for almost a decade, is currently using Pacific World Indonesia for tours to Eastern Indonesia (beach resort destinations) and Aneka Kartika Tours & Travel for tours to Western Indonesia (overland, special interest).
Pacto director of business development Umberto Cadamuro told TTG e-Daily: "This is another important account for us as the partnership with Audley, which is a big and reputable company in the UK, will give us a strong presence in the UK market.
"As Audley is a high-end tailormade tour operator, it is not the volume that we look at but the quality of the product, the revenue and the allocation of revenue. While Audley also sends clients to Bali, many of their requests are for other parts of Indonesia."
Umberto said Pacto won the bid over nine other operators in Indonesia, including a couple of international brands, through a long process.
He added that with this account, Pacto now has strong presence in all major European markets.
