Intercontinental debuts in Osaka

INTERCONTINENTAL Hotels Group (IHG) has reached an agreement with Osaka Station North Yard Development Project to develop an Intercontinental luxury hotel and high-class residences in Osaka.
The project marks the debut of the Intercontinental brand in Osaka and the first Intercontinental residential development in Japan.
It will be located in Osaka Station North Yard, which is in the heart of the city. It will feature 200 rooms and 50 residential apartments as well as restaurants and banquet facilities.
Osaka Station North Yard is an area that has been designated by the city as a special zone for urban redevelopment. Comprising seven hectares, the zone will have urban amenities, high-end offices, modern accommodation options and a 10,000mē plaza and pedestrian mall.
